So the boys had their 4 month check up today. They are doing good. Mason might have a little eye infection so we got some drops just to get rid of whatever might be there. I cant wait for his clogged tear duct to go away. They are getting so big! They both weighed 14lbs even. I guess that is in about the 40th percentile for weight. They were in the 90th percentile for height though! They must be some tall guys. Jaxon was 26in long and Mason was 25in. Both of their head circumfrances were 16 1/4in. I got the okay to start rice cereal and introducing veggies and fruits but i think we still might wait a month or two. All in all they are healthy and develpoing well! YAY!:):)

4 Months!
The boys are officially 4 months today! g'z i cant believe it has been that long! Being a mom is truly the best thing in the world. Tomorrow they go fro their 4 month visit which is both a fun and not fun time for me. I love going and seeing how much they have grown, how much they weigh now and the progress they are making, but i do not like to see them get their shots! I hate seeing my little ones cry and/or be in any pain!!:( I was just getting ready to feed them their late night bottle and mason rolled over from his belly to his back! Now he has done it both ways! YAY! I think they are really starting to teethe. They are always chewing on their hands, or whatever else they can find and drooling like crazy! if you lay mason down for even 5 min on his belly he somehow makes the largest spot of drool. They also have been pretty fussy lately! I'm not ready for them to have teeth yet, they are growing so fast, i just want them to stay my small little smunchies forever! God do i love them, the world just wouldn't be as wonderful without Jaxon and Mason.
Lets take a look at the last month:)

Being a mom
How rewarding it is to be a mother:) They come home these little beings, not being able to do anything, and faster than you know it, these little people blossom before your eyes. I cant believe how much has changed since bringing them home from the hospital. They were so tiny, so fragile, everything scared me. Everyday i look at them i am so grateful that these two amazing little people came into my life. I don't remember life before being a mom as much anymore, nor do i want to. This is the most amazing gift anyone could ever dream of. Their little personalities are getting so big. Jaxon is a lot like his dad. He's pretty serious and likes things a certain way. He's smiley, loving, and has a big heart. He loves to be held as much as possible and doesn't like to be put down. He's a mama's boy. I love the way he makes a gurgley rasberry sound back and fourth with me, my god is it adorable. he loves for me to go back and fourth with him, every time he seems more and more entertained by it. Another thing i love is the way he holds onto you and nuzzles his head on you, he looks like a little toddler the way he carries himself. I love the feeling iget when i lay next to him and look into his eyes, the honest and pure love and compassion i can see when he looks back at me. I love the way he does his bashful little smile, and looks at you with his big beautiful blue eyes.
Mason is definitely his own person. They are two babies each with their own unique personalities. Theere are so many wonderful things about each of them. Mason is so fun loving and carefree. Boy does he love to laugh, everything is funny is masons world. I love it! I love when you tickles his belly and he laughs so hard and loud with his little baby laugh, its truly enough to make anyone melt. I love watching him watch himself in the mirror, he'll smile, coo, and giggle, It always brightens my day! I love watching him play with his little rings and concentrate and study them so hard. I love the faces he makes, like me he shows his emotions very distinctly in his face and you can always tell how he is feeling. He is so sweet, so caring, and can tell that he is going to grow up to be a truly compassionate and loving person. He is also a lot of fun. I love how hes a little jokester and loves to get a smile out of you. Like his brother he has mommies big beautiful blue eyes, and when you look into him you can see the pure joy and compassion in his heart. They sparkle.

Mason and Jaxon roll over
My boys are gettig so big and strong. 3-21-09 Mason rolled over for the first time. I tried my best to get a video, but it didnt work as well as i had hoped, and everytime he has done it since is always when im looking away. I swear hes camera shy! haha:) He rolled over from his back to his belly! I guess Jaxon wanted to share some of the glory, because he decided he was going to roll over on 3-22-09 except he wanted to be different and rolled from his belly to back. I couldnt get a video of his first time either because it was over at aunt Dustys when we least expected it. However i did get his 3rd time:) Mason has done it 3 times so hopefully ill be able to get a better video of one of his early ones soon:) here are the videos!

Right Now
I keep wanting to write in here, but every time I'm feeling inspired my schedule isn't allowing me. lol The boys are doing great! They are like 3 and a half months right now and i can't believe how big they are already. Last week Jaxon and Mason both figured out how to spin these little spinny things on their rattle! I am so proud. I will add the videos when i can:) Over the last 2 weeks it seems like they are really getting good at holding on to some of their toys, shaking them and moving them from one hand to another!! The weather has been warm so I have been taking them to this beautiful park in my area. I love being outside, and i really love to share that with them. Today Jaxon was laying on the floor in front of the mirror, and he looked like such a little man! I layed next to him and caressed and kissed his face and he just looked at our reflection with such concentration, such love. He flashed me a little smile and just continued to lay there content while studying everything. I can never forget the love i felt at that moment. Mason had so0o0o much personality today. He was full of smiles and giggles and had a lot that he was tyring to say. Its amazing how one second they are can't really do anything but cry and next thing you know they are squealing and cooing like crazy. He loves it when you talk to him! Don't tell him but i think he thinks he's actually carrying on a conversation with me. Jaxon was laying in front of the mirror and completely mastered spinning his giant spinning toy that suctions to the mirror. He is so smart, he always has this seriousness about him but still he's full of coos and giggles. Mason seems to be more of a jokester. When his father was holding him this evening he was full of laughs. One was really clear and vivid, like a little toddler laugh. My god was it adorable! These little guys make me melt. I swear they are going to be early bloomers when it comes to getting their teeth, they have been gnawing and sucking on their hands like crazy, not to mention the uncontrollable drooling! It all goes so fast but i am loving being a mom of the mos wonderful boys ever!

Lucky Lady
I consider myself to be one of the luckiest ladies in world. Everytime i look at my two beautiful boys i melt, i'd do anything for them. Being a mom is truly the most amazing gift in the world. Although sometimes things are hard, i may get frustrated, at the end of the day i look at what me and my wonderful fiance created and think that there could be nothing better in this world. I wish i had started my blog sooner so i could look back at the things i felt and went through since hey were born. I dont want to forget any of it! Not one coo or giggle, i want to remember exactly how i felt in these moments.

Things I Remember About Being Pregnant
1.) Jaxon always wiggling 2.)The first time i felt their little baby hiccups and realized that thats what it was(i called the doctor to make sure) 3.)The first time i realized that those butterfly feelings were really movements, and feeling and watching as they turned into kicks and rolls 4.)Peeing every 5 min 5.)Mason had the hiccups like 3 times a day, i always rubbed my belly so he knew it was okay. I always thought how it must be kind of scary no knowing what they are. 6.)EATING!boy did i love food. I always crazed Marble Slab Ice Cream, Cracker with pickles and cheese on them, rice crispy treats, chocolate creme pie, chocolate dougnuts, Heck anythign chocolate. Also after eating stuffed ravioli and bagle nation at the beginning of my pregnancy i remember not being able to even stomach the THOUGHTof it! 7.) I remember the many what some would say unneccessary calls and visits to the obgyn just to ease my mind or make sure everything was going okay. 8.) I loved getting the tons and tons of ultra sounds. I remember the first time i saw there little heart beats, i wanted to cry. Watchinf each month as the formed into these beatiful little beings inside me. Everytime i could see their little hands, or legs wiggle i became filled with excitment. They were perfect. 9.) I remember how it felt like the longest wait of my life to finally find out they were boys and to get their anotomy scans and mae sure everything was okay. Waiting for those test results were scary, i so badly wanted everything to be perfect, and it was:) 10.)The first time their dad got to see them on an ultra sound, the love i saw in his eyes and the amazement in his reaction. Him seeing the reality of it all for the first time was beautful. 11.)The Diabetes test. I failed the 1 hour one at the doctor and was o so lucky that i needed to do the 3 hour. Sitting in that office getting my blood drawn and peeing every hour on the hour was definitly something new for me. 12.) I remember melting everytime i saw a baby thinking, i get two:):):) 13.)Taking pictures of my belly each month and being astonished with how much it grew! i still cant believe how huge i was in the last months! 178 lbs at my last appointment before i delivered. 14.)The 2 NST's a week for the end of my pregnancy, i was having contractions for quite sometime before i ever went into labor. 15.) Modified bedrest for the last month and a half before the boys were born. I wasnt able to do much of anything other then shower, potty, or get up for a snack. Dusty bought me a word search puzzle which kept me occupied, also video games, the computer games and reading were among the things i did to occupy myself. i had the wear compression stockings 24/7 which were really hard when i did take them off. Although laying around all the time sounds fun, it quickly became very annoying! I remember my ob appointments were something i looked foward to, not only to make sure the boys were doing well, but because it was my only chance to leave the house! 16.) excrusiating back and pelvic pain - SPD! GRRRR! sleeping was definitly a challenge. i had to have every pillow in the world around me to even think about trying to sleep.

Being Prego
Being pregnant with twins was a challenge for me. I was a very tiny girl of 107 lbs and was so worried about being able to carry them. I was constantly afraid of preterm labor or things going wrong. I loved to read What To Expect When Your Expecting like it was my bible. Some nights it truly was my sanity! I could never imagine if anthing happened, i wanted to do everything i could to make sure they would be healty and strong. I remember so many things about being pregnant.... Jaxon was always kicking and gong crazy when he was in my belly, jabbing my ribs and wiggling around. Mason always seemed to be content and still, some days i would go to the doctor just to hear his heartbeat and make sure everything was okay. Mason always had the hiccups and i'd love to lay back on the couch and feel the little jolts. I remember watching my belly as i saw the both of the squirm about inside me. I'd always ry to grab my camera as quickly as possible and try and catch it on video tape. It all felt so unreal. I remember the horrible pelvic, hip, and back pain i felt, The sleepless nights full of trips to the bathroom. I remember that there wasnt going anywhere without the immediate trip to the bathroom after getting out of the car. I continued going to college until i was about 6 months pregnant. I loved braging to everyone at school that i was having twins! BH contractions started around that time, so i was glad to be done. Towards the last month and a half of my pregnancy i was put on moderatd bed rest, while taking terabutalin to stop my contractions. I was determined to keep these boys in as long as possible to give them the best chance outside the womb. Being pregnant was a journey, a journey no one truly can understand until they are there. The feelings, worries, excitments and anticipation. At 37w6d 2am i felt it. I woke up with the worst pain ever. I stayed up until Beau woke up to go to work insisting i was fine and i didnt want it to be a false alarm. I knew something wasnt right so i made a doctor appointment for 11. 8am came around and i called and said i was coming in NOW! i sat and waited for what seemed like forever. They put me on the NST for what was then the billionth time and left the room while i sat there for 25 min. The pain was excrusiating. Finally by the time they came in i was in tears! They checked my cervix and sure enough i was dialated to four, it was time:)
